This trailer is fully powder coated steel. Any scratch that occurs on the trailer will cause the trailer to rust without proper protection. We recommend any rust prevention spray paint.

We try to use the same tires on each of our trailers, but some differ depending on the size of the trailer to accommodate its weight capacity. Please check the "Specifications" tab within the product's page to get its tire specification.

The warranty is 1 year from when you purchased the trailer from all manufacturers defects.

Yes, both side panels as well as the front and back gate can be removed on our 5X7 Trailer Models.

No, you cannot alter the trailer or use parts that don't match original specification of the product at purchase. Any alterations will result in the warranty becoming null and void.

No. The gate that comes with the MMT5X7 is not meant to drive up, it will be damaged if driven on. We recommend using the tilt feature if you are planning on using it to transport an ATV or Lawn Mower. You can also purchase one of our drive up gates.

Yes, all of our trailers are approved for speed limits present on all highways in North America.

Every trailer is equipped with a Certificate of Origin for customers who purchase the trailer in the United States and NVIS for customers who live in Canada. If you are having trouble with registration please email support@detailk2.com with a proof of purchase as well as a picture of the VIN plate on the side of the trailer and one of our team members will be of assistance.

Please refer to your Tire Information Label next to your VIN. These labels are typically located on the driver side of your trailer tongue.

All DK2 Trailer Bearings should be greased every 2,000 miles (3,200km). If you are using the trailer frequently or using the trailer at its full weight capacity that number will decrease drastically. If you are using the trailer for a long haul we do recommend consistently checking the bearings for heat.

Our factories are required to have all bearings greased before leaving our factories however, we do suggest to customers to have the bearings greased before heading onto the road. Although, we recommend you check this before use.

The VIN can be located in 2 different spots. One every one of our trailers the VIN is locate on a metal plate on the tongue of the trailer. It can also be located on the Certificate of Origin or the NVIS form provided with every one of our trailers.
